Compassion

“The purpose of all the major
religious traditions is not to
construct big temples on the
outside, but to create temples of
goodness and compassion inside,
in our hearts.”

— Dalai Lama

“We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about.”

— Albert Einstein

Thank You!

“My mum has always encouraged me to get out and be a part of the world and not live a little sheltered existence. Go out, meet people, experience things. It definitely manifests itself in my work. When you get told to go out and see things, you’re always looking. You see a lot more subtle moments that might slip by if you weren’t keeping your eyes open,” he says (Mickey Smith)

Find that warm place and smile... feel grateful.

On Love

“Only someone who is ready for everything, who doesn’t exclude any experience, even the most incomprehensible, will live the relationship with another person as something alive and will himself sound the depths of his own being.”

— Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

The Soul of the Universe has to be Love. It's the most creative, positve, and powerful energy I've ever known. Even the strongest wind has to blow insanely because his Love for playing, and for seeing things spinning around! Love is the seed to acceptance, to tolerance, to compassion. Love clarifies, explains and opens your heart to a better you, and a better us. Love incites you to sing, to appreciate, to dance, to be a child again, to simply be happy because there is so much to discover, and still so many mistakes to make, and yet so many opportunities to choose grattitude and grow.
If you're not sure about something, choose it from Love. Ask, is this Love or is this selfshiness? Is this Love or am I just trying to runaway?

Love feels good and feels right. Love brings positive outcomes. When you choose to go on the opposite direction: fear, you'll miss Love.

“What is the secret of your serenity?, asked the disciple. To cooperate unconditionally with the inevitable, answered the master.”

— Anthony de Mello

“Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.”

— Thich Nhat Hanh

Turn your Light ON

We can be taller, smarter, more forgiving or happier. We can find ourselves or get lost somewhere. We can choose because we don't know what's next, what's on the next curve, what's going on after we past away. That's freedom. Being free doesn't mean having the money to buy a flight, it means being free to choose your attitude.

Turn on that beautiful light that anyone can feel from your smile. Turn it on just by feeling your heart pulsate. Feel how the entire world pulsates. The breath of the trees, the blood stream running through small creeks and large rivers. We are all connected and our heart is beating just like another one is beating inside the person next to you.

Try to keep yourself pure at heart, even with all the mistakes you’ve done, forgive yourself by not falling into the same mistakes. Make your best effort to act upon your best attitude and remember that not acting by fear it's still is a decision you're making, but probably a wrong one. Choose LOVE, for Nature, for Life, for Joy, for Abundance. Be a Fertile soil where laughs, colors, and strength can sprout.

Heart it...

“It's not our job to toughen our children up to face a cruel and heartless world. It's our job to raise children who will make the world a little less cruel and heartless.”

This happens, to everyone...

“There is a saying in Tibetan, ‘Tragedy should be utilized as a source of strength.’ No matter what sort of difficulties, how painful experience is, if we lose our hope, that’s our real disaster.”

The Dalai Lama

Honest; Kind; and still Strong as any predator.

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!”

Rocky Balboa

To all of us, wounded in so many battles, that are still here or gone to an outer world, may we not be victims of hate, sickness, or sadness. We can rise from Music. We can rise from Dreams. We can rise our spirits from our Imagination and help create the Love we all want to fall in.

A beautiful object = surfboard

The Sound of Dust from Hidden Notice on Vimeo.

Namasté : )

I see all your beautiful colours...

"Think of yourself as a vessel filled with light. Light that changes colors depending on what angle you are looking at it, and those colors represent the many experiences you've had in your life. Your soul has become all of the sunsets you've watched, the ocean air you've breathed, the friends you've made, the love you've shared, the times that made you laugh and cry. You are all of your experiences.

Each and every person out there is the same way. The person in the car next to you, the cashier at the grocery store, your mailman, your friend, your spouse, even that annoying co-worker… they all carry with them that same ever-changing light, a spectrum of colors that uniquely defines them and their life experiences. They too have experienced love and pain, they have their history, their own things they hold dear, and have seen their own beautiful sights. No two are the same, yet we all have it inside us.

It's so easy to see only the surface of a person and dismiss them for only what they are presenting to you in a given situation. But we're all connected in that we carry around our entire life — each experience you have, each interaction, all of it is with you all the time.

The next time you find yourself passing a person on the street, in a meeting, or talking with your friends, try to be aware of the enormity of what they're actually carrying around with them. Practicing this makes the ability to forgive and accept much easier.

To me, Namaste means that I see you. I understand we're both souls trying to make our way in this world, all part of some larger plan. I know that while the color of our lights may shine differently, we all share the same internal fire, and my soul bows to and acknowledges that in your soul"

THANK YOU Brigitte : )

We all have to make an effort...

Freedom through Rituals

TRY THIS MEDITATION...
http://store.chopra.com/music/21ftl/jukebox.html

“In today’s meditation we will take part in a guided ritual of release, designed to give you freedom from the past. Anything you do on a daily basis can be called a ritual—from waking up at the same time every morning, to eating lunch at noon, to showering every day. Rituals comfort us because they are familiar and easily repeatable. Many rituals are used to symbolize ancient practices of purification. You can use rituals to release painful memories or stories from your past that may have been keeping you from success, health, or giving and receiving the love you deserve. (...)
Rituals have had a place in various cultures for thousands of years.  Some, like the New Years kiss at midnight, is cultural.  Others, like the Catholic ritual of communion, are religious.  The reason rituals have lasted through the centuries is because they’re simple, familiar and easily repeatable. Rituals involve doing something symbolically that translates on a spiritual and physical level. (...)
Some spiritual teachings offer a burning bowl ceremony at the end of the year.  In this ritual, participants are given a piece of paper and ask to write anything that no longer serves them, or any negativity or discord they would like to release.  Once they have written their declaration of release, everyone tosses their papers into a large metallic bowl where they are ignited.  Burning of the paper symbolized the purification and release of toxic thoughts, emotions and behaviors. (...)

I'm so sorry for what has happened...

(with Boston, with the continuing bomb attacks in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, with the violence towards women and children, with poverty and despair...)

The violence, the pain, the hate, the unfairness, the despair of becoming a victim... I'm so sorry for not doing more to end suffering.

We must continue believing in Peace.
We must keep believing in Love, in being beautifully human, in being Kind.
We must be "the change we wish to see in the World".

Everyday one of us falls, gets hurt, becomes bitter, starts having thoughs and feeling of hate, becomes desperated and wishes death. Everyday pain is increased.

Whatever we can do to increase Love, let's do our best to do it. Please, let's bring Love back to the Heart of this World.

“The pollution of the planet is only an outward reflection of an inner psychic pollution: millions of unconscious individuals not taking responsibility for their inner space.”

- Eckhart Tolle

Last night and as I woke up this morning, my breath was shallow, short and I had this tightness in me. It is still afloat, this strange weight of fear and uncertainty. I don’t know where is coming from and what has happened that triggered these strange feelings in my gut, but as I’m trying to distract myself from this and have started to navigate over pictures and words written by others like me, I became again inspired to believe that we can navigate through the darkest storms if we hold on to Kindness and Love. We are all ONE. And ALL that we want is simply to feel accepted, safe, loved...

Someone out there LOVES you, unconditionally.
Believe.

I will never...

Promises once made that linger in our hearts and echo in our minds for no apparent reason besides of their own weight felt in our souls. Be sure of the promises you wish to hold, and once you promise, do all you can to honor them.

Again, Silence is the key to feel the WHOLE world. Inner and Outer.

You must always remember that silence is the greatest teacher. Quietness, silence, total stillness, it is the greatest teacher.
Reality shines through where there is silence.
If you want to experience reality just keep quiet.
That is all you have to do.
Shut up.
Stop talking.
Stop thinking.
Stop imagining.
Leave it all alone.”

- Robert Adams

Feel the wonder...

Many films diminish us. They cheapen us, masturbate our senses, hammer us with shabby thrills, diminish the value of life. Some few films evoke the wonderment of life’s experience, and those I consider a form of prayer. Not prayer “to” anyone or anything, but prayer “about” everyone and everything. I believe prayer that makes requests is pointless. What will be, will be. But I value the kind of prayer when you stand at the edge of the sea, or beneath a tree, or smell a flower, or love someone, or do a good thing. Those prayers validate existence and snatch it away from meaningless routine

“Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love.”

– Rilke

Focus, Breathe & Let Go

Togetherness

Finding Yoga, besides of a simple way to stretch the body

Yoga comes from ancient times. Between II a.C and II d.C.
It took its name “Yoga” from the many written or spoken attempts to synthesize the vast knowledge on the good health of the body, the mind and the spirit.

It settles on the principle that only a mind and body well dominated, can sustain the deepest knowledge of the whole world and universe.

Man was thought to be like a quarry of deposits. Those deposits (misconceptions, prejudice; and poor education) could only be removed by a strong fire. The fire of Yoga.

That fire comes from an active will of freeing oneself.

Only when man imposes on himself the discipline and effort of discovering his nature, can he create those moments of fire, that purify and energize him.

To withhold from eating; to sustain the whole body on just one leg or arms; to sit under the hot sun or freezing cold; to control the breath; to choose silence, those are all practices that are meant to generate that purifying heat, to teach you humility and detachment.

To ascend to an higher state of being is to become gentle, warm, serene, disciplined.

In Yoga it’s understood that existential poverty does not depend on poor social and material conditions, but also exists in prosperity.

If you reduce your needs, it’s easier to focus more in your inner self. That’s where that purifying fire burns. But you need to believe that that fires is there and that everyone carries it inside. Think of everyone’s soul as a gentle candle that as more brightness when there is calm around, and almost fades when there is agitation.

Yoga serves the purpose of calming and energizing through your breath, your mind and allows your spirit to manifest freely. That’s why you can do yoga and dance, or you do yoga with a smile, or you share a yoga session with a friend.

When you breathe through your heart, you should feel a gentle touch in your heart area and the image of one irradiating light covering your whole body and being, should come up into your mind.

After a Yoga practice, it’s good to observe your feelings and sensations. Discover any points of agitation and gently ask the mind to bring calm and smoothness to those parts of the body.

Try humility and detachment in your next yoga practice and feel your body opening up to new levels of peaceful existence.

Do you feel that?

Do you feel the flow of energy boosting out of your soul because of some song you just heard, or just because of a picture of something that means a lot to you, or it was somewhere inside you and you felt like singing or declaiming out loud... the burst of creative energy! the burst of "I-fucking-love this!!!!" energy!

That's where we come from! How did the world or the Universe came to exist? From that. That amazing unlimited super powerful energy, and hey, it's right there, right at the center of your core, right on your soul.

Bring it to the surface, let it leak from every pore, let it be heard in every word you say, let it be felt by every movement you make. Be wild at heart and true.

Follow your instinct, follow your soul. Feel pleasure.

Word.

Plant it deep in your core...

What is really important to you. What do you take really seriously?

- Success?
- Fortune?
- Passion?
- Fitness?
- Friends?
- Travelling?
- ...

Deep in your core is the answer to all your doubts. Should, shouldn't. When we say, take a long breath, it's just for you to go to that space of silence and inner wisdom. Your core. It feels like this:

After, imagine that outside yourself it looks like this:

Sunny, joyful, healthy. Things feel right.
Don't be afraid of going deep...
